Travel Tips: Love Delightful Birthday Present
Great way to celebrate Birthday weekend with a few Pirates, wenches, a ship like stage, and dinner. New show was fun and entertaining. This is a very interactive show with audience participation encouraged. Audience is divided into teams by color. The purple team did not fair well. Throwing the bundles up to the pirates was an epic Fail.
The stage show is active and going on the whole time you eat with damsels or as they called them wenches in distress and pirates fighting over them or trying to save them. Lots of great acrobatic stunts from high flying to trampolines. Pirates use ropes to fly back and forth from crows nest to the ship.
A little bit of the action
Laughter was contagious as the waiter Michael kidding one of the patrons in my row. Good old fashion good nature jesting. Michael was delightful has he waited on us and served the local fare of chicken, potatoes, salad, and finish with ice cream. No more two free beers but soda in pitchers for all. Other libations were an additional freight of $6 for wine.Upgrades to better meal were from $4 to $20. Mine upgraded to white meat chicken for additional $4 seemed steep but they are constantly looking for ways to make money. Paper pirate hats are for those in special pricing. Lots of opportunities to pay more for a few more items.
Patrons of each team are encouraged to root their team on. Wave from side to side. Stand and take the pirate oath and general have a raucous good time. Kids are enticed into going on the ship for Pirate oath. At another time they are part of the Red Coats taking over the ship and rescuing the princess and her father’s gold.
The gift shop has lots of goodies calling out to wanna be pirates or princesses. The before show – show is where you can get before dinner drinks in special glasses and a few Hors d’oeuvre are passed around unless you are VIP then you get a special lounge. A corny show is enacted in this area before going into the Pirate ship and eating area.
Getting the Free birthday dinner requires signing up for emails ahead of time so you are invited on your birthday. It is a fun way to celebrate and meet others at your table row to enjoy the antics of the actors.
Thank you Pirates Dinner Adventure for a delightful and wonderful Birthday Dinner.
