Christmas Celebrations Busch Gardens Ice Skating Musical Stage Show

Busch Gardens lovely decorations for Holidays

The Musical Stage Show has a lot of variety to it with high energy dancers, seasonal songs, and tap dancing soldiers with Santa fun. Favorite day of the year is December 25 is the first song and really makes it a production as the actors crisscross the stage. The stage is set with a Christmas Tree, fireplace, beautiful windows and stars in the sky. The show is one of my favorites because of the highly skilled dancers, singers, and actors.

The Desert Grill is a nice setting for this show because it is set up with long tables and benches big enough for a Oktoberfest group. There is food available. Plan on getting there early because seating does fill up and being up front is best. There is action in the aisles with the actors coming into the audience. I was able to get a short video of the Wooden Soldier tap dance.

Love the end when the inflatable blow up on both ends of the stage. A huge Wooden Soldier and a huge Snowman. Santa hangs around for pictures with the children. The actors line up in front of the stage for those who want to go talk with them.

Part of the Holiday Celebration is the Christmas on Ice skating show moved from Stanleyville Theatre to the Morroccan Palace Theatre where the Cirque show had been. It is much smaller venue but does allow control over the air conditioning. The ushers constantly walk up and down the aisle to keep making sure you are not video taping with your phone or camera. The lighting was very low and hard to get great pictures.

The Ice Skating Show was nice and worth seeing at least once if you live close while the Stage show is excellent. Beyond that there is very little going on compared to SeaWorld. Living closer to SeaWorld I feel blessed with all they have to offer. Their Ice Skating show is a musical stage show and  is worth a trip from Tampa to see. Yes Gas is high which is why I only made one trip to Tampa besides the best show in the area is SeaWorld. Busch Gardens is a great place for roller coasters. SeaWorld is the Best for Shows!

Busch Gardens Shuttle Express

Busch Gardens Shuttle Express is free for those who bought combination tickets which does NOT include annual pass combination. This is targeted at the market to get people to buy two park tickets during a very short stay here. It is for visitors. I had been told at SeaWorld my ticket was a combination but when I took the bus to Busch Gardens – bait and switch – they wanted $10 for the bus ride or would not give me a ticket to get back on the bus. After much discussion they gave me a ticket to get back to SeaWorld where my car was. One time only!

I haven’t been to Busch Gardens much because Gas would cost me $20 round trip so it becomes too expensive to go. Even at $10 although it is a savings, it adds on to my cost. The bus arrives around 11am and leaves half hour before the park closes. There are limitations but if you want to visit it does save on the Gas. I had been so excited thinking I could go for free and finally start visiting with my annual pass again – disappointed.

Make sure you visit SeaWorld for the Holidays

The Ice Skating show is a full stage production with Fireworks after. Before the show you can wander the Christmas Market and have mint hot chocolate. Sit and watch the Sea of Trees lights dance to the holiday music . Snow falls near the Waterfront at set times in the evening with wonderful music. Lots more to do!
