Seaworld Concerts announce the beginning of spring for Florida
I was very far back for this concert. Really I am never up front because I have not gotten there hours early. In the winter for the skating there are not as many people although the stadium fills even then but no one on the grassy areas or the far away area where there are TV screens and speakers across the water.
Going every weekend is a joy and a challenge to block out anything else going on. There are concerts at Busch Gardens too but with gas prices that is a cost of about $25 round trip. I find myself thinking I could buy their album instead of spending on increase gas companies ginormous profits and have something to take away.Have not made a concert at Busch Gardens yet.
Willie Nelson is a treasure.
Playing for the hour and a half with stops to change hats or bandannas and truly enjoying himself while the fountains danced in the background behind him. His voice was good and not raspy like Kenny Rogers and Neil Diamonds are now. Loved all the different looks and as the sunset it was easier to get good pictures. The sun is hard on the bands as it sets it is right in their eyes.
Willie didn’t rush out but took time to touched many fans hands and signed hats, paper, or whatever the fans handed to him at the end of the concert for more than ten minutes. His joy of his life and his giving to his fans was touching knowing we never know when we will not have him with us anymore.
Reading his story on Wikipedia and his mismanagement by Price Waterhouse was new information to me. Looks like we all can be betrayed by others no matter how rich or poor we are. This man was doing what he loved and I am sure assumed this company was trustworthy and it was not. Glad he was able to get out of a bad situation quickly. The energy in Bayside Stadium was great, jovial, and rockin – what a wonderful day – again a wonderful day at Seaworld listening to music.
As you leave the small village area and Bayside Stadium, passing the auxiliary stage with more music and dancing for those who want to enjoy the weather longer. There are those of us who race from here to Universal to catch the Mardi Gras parade and concert there that are about two hours later.

REO Speedwagon
Arriving late after being in Daytona Beach for a Social Media Meeting, stopping at Canaveral National Seashore, and driving back past the wildfire that slowed traffic (later found out it was not a controlled burn). I picked a bench across the water from Bayside Stadium because walking all the way there made no sense. Here there were screens, speakers and good energy.
Hearing the concert was great and seeing the screen helped. Waiting until a chair close to the water cleared, I stayed on the bench rather than standing. It was not long.
Moving into a chair and capturing the dancing water which delights the child within so much. Mesmerized by music and water fountains dancing. These are the kind of things that soothe my spirit. I love the zoom on this camera. Now the screen was close by to my left.
I could see the closeups of the band members better than if I had been in the Stadium. Grainy, yes but nice all the same. As the sun was setting my eyes were getting heavy, No universal concert tonight. Not a band I wanted to hear.
What a busy and lovely day out in nature with great scenery and good music.
Goodbye and goodnight
A new concert this Saturday, March 5 with Josh Turner. End of country music
