Travel Tips: Photographs save the memories
Photography has been part of my journey since I was a young teen with a Brownie Camera. I love taking pictures but the price of development was a problem. Now with digital cameras I am able to take a lot of pictures. Keep improving.
When I showed people my pictures from trips, they would say you should sell them. Finding a market and avenue is the challenge. Especially now when everyone has a digital camera. At one time, I did crafts and art fairs. People would but the cost of the fair booth would out weigh the cost of the material and the amount I collected. Even had a gift shop for a State Capital ask for my photographs on consignment. That lasted several years. When they went out of business, my works went with them. I lost all the costs. Consignments were hard because you had the upfront cost before sales. If a business failed, your works usually were lost with it.
Now I use my photographs to tell my stories, save memories, and just enjoy the process.
