Being my first show my time was spent seeing what was there. As I walked around, the mascot for the Florida Restaurant and Lodging show, a Chili Pepper came down the aisle spreading friendliness. It was fun to see all the people. I tried food, sparkling water, and ice cream then went back for cards of those I liked the best and to take pictures. The cooking and food trials ranged from Steaks to pizza, to ice cream and yogurt, with Italian Sausage and Kielbasa too.

Tried many of the ice cream and yogurt because they were ubiquitous but the Working Cow Homemade Smooth, Rich and Creamy Ice Cream was the best. If you wanted a bell or ice cream, they asked you to Moo – it was funny. They were delightful.

The show was very interesting although my time was limited to just a few hours I could see how helpful this would be to the decision makers in any business purchasing products. There were a ton of culinary students as Guests attending the Show. This show is also a good chance for Tourism students to learn and see another side of the business.
