Want to treat yourself to somewhere special? Having a waterfront home for a few days is fantastic. Breakfast cooked by awesome people. Friendly! Yes they are all very friendly, helpful, and easy to like. Sit for a conversation with the owners outside while watching the boats sail.

Rooms are quaint with collectible furniture with updated bathrooms, fireplace, and lovely adornments throughout to add the special touch of home. Private yet open to conversing with other visitors. Loved the atmosphere, the view, and the cool evening breeze.

Each day has a pleasant start to a great day with special breakfasts. Ending the afternoon with happy hour with treats for nibbling before dinner and wine or beer or juice or ice tea to compliment whatever the cook(s) have dreamed up. It is so nice to be pampered.

Why did I call it the Best? I stayed there and it is on the water. Many I saw around town are not. I love the water and the breezes. Sitting outside as the sun set, seeing all the boats come and go. A dream come true. Relaxing. Lovely. Beautiful. Warm. Sacred.

Of course, going out on Freedom Schooner and seeing the Bayfront Marin House on Shore – Home Sweet Home – Another day on the Scenic Cruise gave me the opportunity to take pictures of the shoreline – especially the lovely, beautiful, warm, welcoming Bayfront Marin House Bed and Breakfast. Try it. You’ll like it. I promise.

Full disclosure: Bayfront Marin House provided accommodations arranged by Kathy Catron, Director of Communications, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau but as always, I will share my honest opinion about my travel experiences.
